AbstractBenny Carter (alto saxophone and trumpet) and his Orchestra perform "Scandal in A Flat" (Part 2) and "I'm in the Mood for Swing" at the Savoy Ballroom in New York. Both sides of the lacquer disc derive from a radio broadcast aircheck (W2XE). Carter arranged and composed the tunes.
