AbstractBenny Carter (alto saxophone, arranger) and his Orchestra perform "Melancholy" and "Tea for Two" at the Savoy Ballroom in New York. Carter composed the first tune. Both sides of the lacquer disc derive from a radio broadcast aircheck (WJZ).
