NOTE: The Jack Oakie nominal half-hour share of the hour-long program runs over, reducing Benny’s half-hour by a minute and twenty seconds. A two-minute & 10 second interval of blank tape precedes the next transfer. NOTE: Reynolds does not have this next broadcast. The transfer here is pieced together from all available sources, which fail to include portions of the commercials, the closing announcements and theme, and likely an introduction of the Coolidge String Quartet. However, all other elements of the broadcast are present, and their sound is excellent overall. Several of the performances are on bootleg LP; these do not include “Dear Old Southland,” It should not be duplicated except for adequate compensation.
