NOTE: In addition to the legitimate release on the CfO Series, this broadcast is also in full or in part on bootleg LPs, including CARIB and SUNBEAM. The source for the bootleg LPs is a set of 16” acetates originally sold by Boris Rose, which I once possessed and eventually sold to Anders Ohama. That set included the broadcast of 10, 17, 24, and 31 August 1937. “Let’s Dance” above is transferred from my acetates; it was missing from the Reynolds cassette; balance of the transfer is from that cassette, whose sound is superior to that of my acetates.
A 52 - second interval of blank tape precedes the next transfer (highteneo to 5 sec. for CD)

NOTE: This is a direct transfer from an R. J. Reynolds cassette. It includes a very brief “glitch” where the two 16” acetates merge, during “My Cabin Of Dreams,” and a brief line interruption during the rendition of “Stompin’ At The Savoy.” Both defects are also in the 16” acetates I had. Excerpts of this broadcast are on various bootleg LPs, who used my acetates as their source, via tapes. The audio quality here is superior to that of the LPs.
REPRISE: “My Cabin Of Dreams” from the broadcast of 24 August, above, is transferred next from my acetates
