NOTE: Because of its brevity, the next transfer is not in Legacy.
On the reverse side of the R.J. Raynolds transcriptions bearing Part 1 of the “Camel Caravan” broadcast of 25 April 1939 are “...segments of three songs in rehearsal.” These are: the final few bars of Jumpin’ At The Woodside; the intro of Chlo-e; and the final chorus of the Quartet’s Chicago. All three tunes are included in the broadcast of 2 May 1939. For that reason, I believe this rehearsal took place just prior to the broadcast of 2 May 1939.
